It is a common misconception that eggs need to be refrigerated. However, all eggs are made with a protective layer (bloom). If they are not refrigerated, they will never need to be; but once you refrigerate an egg, it must stay refrigerated.
Generally, unwashed eggs will last around two weeks unrefrigerated, and about three months or more in your refrigerator.
